2006 Fun Days Parade Float

Each year Alexandria hosts a 4-day Fun Days festival and part of the festivities include a parade through town on Saturday morning.  This year we did a Living Water themed float with running water and a well.  We handed out about 800 bottles of water to the onlookers.

 

2006 Women's Banquet

Approximately 70-75 women and young ladies gathered on Friday, May 12th to be a part of our annual women's banquet.  About 20 men and boys served the meal.  After the dinner the ladies of our praise team shared in special music and Denise Hull gave the program.

 

Sunrise service and breakfast

On Easter Sunday (April 16) we enjoyed a beautiful rainbow and a wonderful service and breakfast.  We served 105 people for breakfast and rejoiced with having 179 in attendance for morning worship.

 

Wild Game Feasts

 

 Our 2010 event was attended by 150 or so at the meal and 175+ involved when you count the servers and volunteers. 

The 2011 Wild Game Feast is set for Feb.(TBD), doors open at 4, meal at 6:30 PM

 

 Our 2008 event was even bigger with 170+ or so at the meal and  involved when you count the servers and volunteers.  We estimate 200+ or so including those who cmae for horderves before the  meal. We had 5 new successful young hunters participate this year. We had guest come form as far away as Pennsylvania. We would like to thank all who participated to make this event so successful. Those from the church and those from the community who donatited time to set up the displays, sidedishes, desserts and all the delicious wildgame.

Our 2007 event was even bigger with 110 or so at the meal and 130+ involved when you count the servers and volunteers.  The 2008 Wild Game Feast is set for Feb. 9, doors open at 4, meal at 6:30 PM

On February 11,2006 we held our first Wild Game Feast.  We were thrilled to see over 80 people in attendance.  It was great to see so many neighbors and friends who are not normally a part of our services.

The meat selections included venison, squirrel, quail, elk, walleye, sea bass and others.  We were able to hand out 24 Bibles to guest families.
